ElectroAcoustics Magazine
Digital Edition of Arts & Technologies
EDITORIAL NOTE.
Since its 2011 debut in Milan as a hub for Italian contemporary art and musical information, ElectroAcoustics continues its mission as a critical bridge between technology and sound. We are officially opening our doors to a global network of professionals, students, and researchers operating in the fields of arts and critical literature.
ElectroAcoustics is one of the main ways to describe the music created and composed with new technologies, with reference to studies that deal with the interdisciplinary nature of music and its values of meaning. Therefore, doing art as a source of knowledge, our primary attention is for the independent culture, and we are interested in studying and reviewing different works of art, provided they have a strong socio-cultural impact.
For a deeper look at our mission, explore our featured research: Research Around Sound and Technologies. ElectroAcoustics Magazine is the web-based, critically informative extension of the Arts & Technologies editorial project.

Spatialization as an Ontological Act: The Spatial Luthierie of Eraldo Bocca and the Resistance of Matter
On the resistance of matter within the post-digital horizon—between the structural manipulation of tape and the spatialization of the digital file, the paradox of the 'para-acousmatic,' and the physical hand-to-hand engagement of sound staging understood as a second-order writing—this editorial traces the theoretical and material legacy of Eraldo Bocca: a spatial craftsmanship conceived as an ontological device this side of contemporary lissage, where the acousmonium becomes an architecture of the déjà-là and the loudspeaker acquires a radical theatrical grain.
