RDM Records – Call for Entries: Nothing But the Sound
RDM Records, a production house for music and literature, has extended the deadline for the production of an electroacoustic composition anthology titled Nothing But the Sound. The primary requirement for submission is a spirit of research.
In this context, "electroacoustic compositions" encompasses a vast range of experiences without stylistic or categorical limitations. Whether acousmatic, concrete, purely electronic, or for electronics and live instruments, the compositions selected for the project must demonstrate clear linguistic and aesthetic research reflecting the composer's unique and singular vision.
Furthermore, there is no deadline for the call for entries regarding the publication of a "collection of essays on the relationship between music and technology." This project focuses on the meaning of artistic creation and the definition of art today, involving reflections on all artistic languages with particular attention to experimental electronic music.
