RDM Records was born in Milan from a necessity for total autonomy. We reject the "common sense" of dominant culture and the hollow constraints of market products. For us, music is a movement of research. We believe that human production—the unique and most important essence—is the final meaning of being.

The research we promote concerns the infinite intra-disciplinary and intra-conceptual field represented by technologies—ciò che in campo musicale è l'accezione elettroacustica. This is a cognitive inquiry centered on the correspondence between sound and audibility and between thought and comprehensibility; these two spheres share the unexplored realm of perceptual processes. In a context where every discipline unfolds in a fabric of technological means, we distinguish clearly between the technical, mechanical use of these tools and their creative, proactive application. Our research is firmly intertwined with technologies when they are not simply employed, but put to work within a framework of articulating meaning, autonomous both technically and linguistically.

Building upon this foundation, our music production services apply this creative framework to the production of musical audio recordings that remain technically and linguistically autonomous.

The South Beach Inquiry: Jadys Daniele’s (2018)
In 2018, this philosophy expanded into the heart of South Beach with Jadys Daniele’s. Managed by founders Romina Daniele and Lorenzo Marranini, this space was envisioned as an artistic sanctuary. Here, the intellectual depth of RDM Records met the soul of live musical performances, refined electronics, and avant-garde rock, all paired with the high-quality craft of Italian-American hospitality.

Today, RDM Records and Jadys Daniele exist as a single, unified reality as we prepare to establish a new live music venue. Our mission encompasses the full spectrum of music production services and book publishing, delivering works in both physical and digital formats.

Whether through the publishing of electronic books, a physical 3-CD audio essay, or a live blues performance, RDM Records remains dedicated to the original character of making art. We invite you to breathe in an atmosphere where philosophy meets the stage, and where the "Spannung"—the tension of existence—is explored through every sound and word we produce.

A Legacy of Autonomous Creation
Since 2010, Lorenzo Marranini has been the driving force behind RDM Records, an independent label dedicated to the intersection of sound research and critical literature. Originally based in Italy and now operating from Miami, he has performed across Europe’s most diverse avant-garde stages, establishing a reputation for uncompromising artistic integrity.

The SHEEN Project & Absence
In 2015, Marranini released his debut album, Absence, under the moniker Sheen. Developed in close cooperation with Romina Daniele, the project is a masterclass in the manipulation of indifferentiated sound masses and the fusion of disparate genres.

Through intense and laborious research, Marranini constructs deep, contrasting electronic environments that translate the "moods of musical experience" into visceral audio-textual interventions. Rooted in an existential-philosophic framework, the work draws its conceptual title from Daniele’s poem, Assenza (o soglia del mio dolore). Each composition within the album serves as a numbered movement, mapping a specific moment of the human consciousness into a structured, sonic reality.

Lorenzo Marranini: Sound Architect. Founding Partner & Creative Director

Romina Daniele is a globally recognized Italian composer of electronic and experimental music, a performer of extended vocal techniques, and a writer. Her work is a profound synthesis of classical studies and avant-garde research, rooted in a lifelong dedication to art criticism, aesthetics, and the history of photography.

With a degree Cum Laude in Cinema Studies and two Master’s degrees in sound technology and multimedia, Romina’s creative output is inextricably bonded with the investigative processes of literature and philosophy. For her, making art is an act of philosophical inquiry—a journey toward the authenticity of existence.

Bringing the gap between high-theory electronic composition and the raw, soulful grit of the blues, through her numerous record and book publications, she continues to explore the "multimedia path" as a singular, unified experience of human apprehension.
