ROMINA DANIELE (RDM RECORDS) is a VOCALIST, composer, and scholar whose multidisciplinary work establishes the foundational mission of the label: the synthesis of SOUND RESEARCH and CRITICAL LITERATURE. A graduate in Cinema Studies with multiple Master’s degrees in Art History and Music Technology from the MILAN CONSERVATORY, Daniele is an internationally recognized exponent of EXTENDED VOCAL TECHNIQUES. Her career is defined by an uncompromising search for the "authentic sense of being," translating the complexities of human consciousness into a structured, avant-garde sonic reality.

The Foundations of RDM Records

Since co-founding RDM Records in 2010, Romina Daniele has served as the label’s intellectual core. Her work is categorized by three pillars:

• THE DASEIN CYCLE: Central to her major work Spannung, this cycle utilizes Heideggerian philosophy to explore the "tension" of existence through LIVE ELECTRONICS and vocal experimentation.

• VOCAL EPISTEMOLOGY: Her life-long project, the 1,000-page essay Voce Sola (Solo Voice), analyzes the vocal discourse not just as music, but as a primary site of anthropological, philosophical, and physiological inquiry.

• THEORY OF AUDIOVISION: A corpus of essays investigating the relationship between sound and image, culminating in foundational publications such as Ascenseur pour l'échafaud, the place of music in audiovision. Her theoretical research precedes and informs her avant-garde cinematic soundscapes.
