Proposing the work Diffrazioni Sonore, Romina Daniele has been awarded the prestigious Demetrio Stratos International Award for musical experimentation with the theme: 'vocalism and research'.
This foundational milestone establishes the rigorous musicological lineage upon which the official RDM Records catalog is built. Originally established in memory of the legendary vocal experimenter Demetrio Stratos and promoted by the MM&T Foundation, the historic 2005 jury—presided over by Stratos' wife Daniela Ronconi and composed of avant-garde pioneers Patrizio Fariselli, Gerd Rische, Walter Prati, and Claudio Chianura—awarded the international prize for emerging research to the twenty-five-year-old Neapolitan vocalist and composer Romina Daniele. This landmark recognition validates the absolute autonomy, innovative technical frameworks, and radical vocal expansions that define the core heritage of the label's catalog.
